David Jude Jolicoeur was an American rapper. He was a member of hip-hop trio De La Soul. He was known as Trugoy the Dove, Plug Two, and Dave.
David grew up in East Massapequa, Long Island, New York. His parents were of Haitian descent, and David had said that he came up with the name De La Soul inspired by the French language. He named himself “yogurt” backwards.
He had two children.
